Kgathallanang Development Centre is situated in Tigane location at St John Vianney Catholic Parish. It was opened in May 2015 with the aim of alleviating poverty in the pastoral district of Hartbeesfontein. Prior to this project, we had been receiving food parcels, clothes and blankets from the well wishers of the Cathedral and Alabama Catholic communities. 200 Years Missionary Oblates of Mary
Yesterday the diocese of Klerksdorp welcomed the General Superior of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI). We celebrated Holy Mass with him at 10.30 yesterday at St Michael’s parish – Potchefstroom. The General lead the Mass. Oblates celebrated the 200th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Oblates. We are grateful to God for these missionary giants.
