2023 Diocesan Womens’ Forum Annual Fundraising Event – 30th September, 2023

On this feast day Of St. Jerome, the women of the diocese gathered for their annual diocesan Womens’ Forum Mass with His Lordship, Bishop Victor Hlolo Phalana. The venue for the event was St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Jouberton. During the mass, the women were reminded of their commitment to the diocese. In his homily, the Bishop pointed out to the women of the diocese that Mary of Bethany offered her presence to Jesus, before giving him the present of anointing his feet with the costly ointment.

Diaconate Ordination in the Diocese of Klerksdorp

May the name of the Lord be praised both now and forever. History is made yet again in the Diocese of Klerksdorp on the 1st of July, 2023 as five men were raised to the sacred order of the diaconate. Covid Restrictions Lifted

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The Covid-19 restrictions imposed by the State have been lifted.

  1. I wish to announce that, for the Diocese of Klerksdorp, the mandatory wearing of face masks indoors has be lifted. Those who still wish to wear their masks in church must be respected.
  2. You are not compelled to sanitize, sanitization is optional.
  3. There is no longer a restriction on the number of those who attend our Liturgical Services.
