May the name of the Lord be praised both now and forever. History is made yet again in the Diocese of Klerksdorp on the 1st of July, 2023 as five men were raised to the sacred order of the diaconate. The ordination mass which started at 10am was presided over by the Bishop of the diocese, Rt. Rev. Victor Hlolo Phalana. These five men are Deacon(s) Keabetswe Motlhwe, Thuto Mosomane, Justin Umunnakwe, Ini-Abasi Wilson and Thabiso Sedia. Two of them are from Botswana, two from Nigeria, and one from South Africa respectively. These men are transitional deacons who will one day be ordained priest in the diocese of Klerksdorp.
